The staff are great including the ladies on reception as well as Giacomo and Antonio. The breakfast is superb with everything you could ask for.The location is excellent but visitors should not be put off by the rather run down area to the right of the entrance. It is not worrying at all either during the day or evening - it is just a bit of a contrast to what you might be used to if you have stayed previously in the north of Italy.Via Etnea is a 5 minute walk away, station 10 minutes and Corso Sicilia just across the way ( with a superb Italian supermarket next to Lidl). Same goes for Metro stop - Stesorico.Incidentally Catania is great - lots of good places to eat, beautiful public gardens, nice shopping, friendly people and slower pace of life than eg Rome. That is before you factor in the proximity of Syracuse - a gem - and Taormina - commercialised yes but also fun. ps Aircon/heating in hotel excellent

Wow, incredible - Giacomo was wonderfully helpful and welcoming at reception, giving us lots of great and tailored tips for our trip around Sicily. His smooth Sicilian charm buttered us up like freshly baked baps! An unforgettable terrace experience thanks to the unparalleled service from Antonio - offering the worlds best aperol spritzes accompanied by a smorgasbord of delectable treats. I still have dreams about that mozzarella!!

The staff there was incredibly nice to me and my partner! Especially Giacomo (reception) and Antonio (restaurant/bar). They always made conversation with us whenever they saw us. Also, they gave us good recommendations about the city of Catania and places to visit (e.g. restaurants, beaches, places to visit). My partner and I had a wonderful time! Completely relaxed and enjoyed our vacation in Catania, Sicily!

The location is minutes walk from the historic area of Catania and Stesicoro station on the metro. At the same time it is less than 15 mins walk from the main railway station. My room was very quiet and it was cleaned every day. Breakfast was extensive with cereal, fresh fruit, various breads, meat and pastries. I never left hungry ! The staff were friendly and helpful when I wanted information about the town.

Brian

The great staff made the stay so much more enjoyable. The gentleman at the front desk gave us a lot of tips about sightseeing and helped with a trip to Mount Etna. We used the bar a lot too - many thanks to Antonio who was very friendly and made the happy hour so worthwhile. We also liked the location as it was close to the metro station, lots of restaurants and the sites we wanted to visit.
